The Expert Advisor Group

The Vancouver Process Expert Advisor Group (EAG) is a select group of leading CDR policy experts who will help oversee the initial conversations that take place through the Vancouver Process. This group provides informal advice to participants in the Process, and serves as a source of expertise and insight to help inform discussions, identify emerging issues, and support the effective design of the Process and its Secretariat. It is not a decision-making body and does not establish policy or strategy. Most of the experts selected for this group were also involved in developing the Vancouver Declaration and have strong familiarity with the goals and methods of CDRANet’s work to-date. Whether this same group will be involved as the Vancouver Secretariat matures will be determined at a later date; our intent is to maintain a pool of expertise commensurate to the task, and ensure that the development of this initiative is optimally connected to existing efforts. CDRANet members will also be given the opportunity to critique policy and technical issues as they arise during the course of this conversation.
