A Healthier Earth is a UK-based climate-tech catalyst founded in 2021 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Pure DC Group and backed by Oaktree Capital Management. With a technology-agnostic, geo-specific approach, the company bridges ideas, tech, and investment to develop and deliver scalable, planet-positive infrastructure aligned with the Paris Agreement’s 1.5 °C goal.

The firm's flagship project is the UK’s largest biochar facility, under construction in Wiltshire in partnership with Pyreg. Once operational in 2025, the facility is expected to produce 9,000 tonnes of biochar annually—sequestering up to 17,000 tonnes of CO₂—and generating high-integrity biochar carbon credits.

Additionally, A Healthier Earth is advancing its innovative ForestFactory® concept in collaboration with Blenheim Palace Estate. This multidisciplinary reforestation strategy leverages micro-propagation, vertical farming, and biochar to boost tree survival and biodiversity, with the goal of planting 600,000 trees over three years.

Guided by their “Maximum Environmental Good” (MEG) framework, every project is rigorously assessed for its impact across environmental, social, and biodiversity goals, aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
